Pada Bandha of the Foot – Foot Lock

This exercise is designed for stability training of the intrinsics and the long toe flexors of the foot to support the natural arch. It is important to perform this exercise slowly to master motor control.

  1. Begin in parallel with toes on the towel
  2. Curl the toes to grab the towel and draw it in towards the heel trying to keep the ball of the foot on the floor
  3. Release the curl and repeat until towel is gathered urder the arch
  4. Switch feet
